Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org THREE JUVENILES CHARGED WITH ARSON 1ST Three male juveniles ages 17 and 15 have been arrested and charged with Arson 1st in connection with a locker fire that occurred at LeFlore High School Thursday, April 23. Two of the juveniles are 17 years of age and will be taken to Mobile County Metro Jail and one 15 year old will be taken to Strictland Youth Center. The call was received at approximately 1:24 p.m. on Thursday and firefighters arrived at approximately 1:29 p.m. reporting smoke and fire extinguisher dust in the hallway. It was discovered that a single locker was set on fire. There was no fire spread to the building or other lockers. Firefighters checked surrounding lockers and discovered they were empty. The locker where the fire was started contained assorted papers, books a purse and other items. No injuries were reported. The arrests were made jointly by Investigators with Mobile Fire-Rescue and Police. ###
