Teal Court Residential Fire

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department firefighters were dispatched at about 4:47 a.m. for a report of a residential fire in the 3100 block of Teal Court in Mobile, Alabama, Friday morning, January 10, 2025.

Engine 26 arrived to find fire visible from the rear of the structure and heavy smoke visible from the eaves.

They made entry to an enclosed garage at the rear of the residence and were able to stop a fire from spreading there to the rest of the residence with assistance from other subsequently arriving crews.

The resident of the home and one cat and dog made it out safely. Primary and secondary searches were all clear, but two cats are missing.

The home suffered substantial damage. There were no reports of any injuries. The fire is under investigation at this time.
