1:23 p.m. — Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched after a caller reported a residential fire on Boykin Boulevard at about 12:13 p.m. in Mobile, Alabama. While units were en route, dispatchers updated the address to Sea Pines Mobile Home Park on Cedar Crescent Drive after other callers reported the same fire with the correct address.
Units arrived on scene of a mobile home with flames visible from the back. They quickly extinguished the fire and checked for anyone inside. No one was found. They also extinguished flames that had spread from the back into the grass and trees.
The fire is under investigation at this time. Crews are still on scene making sure all hot spots are extinguished. There were no reports of injuries.
