Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org OCTOBER COMMUNITY CPR CLASSES SCHEDULED Mobile Fire-Rescue will be conducting two Community CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) classes in October. The first is at the James Seals Community Center, located at 540 Texas Street, Tuesday, October 13. The second will be taught Tuesday, October 27 at the Hope Community Center, located at 850 Edwards Street. Both classes are from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The class is the American Heart Association’s Family and Friends Course. The class also includes steps to take when adults, children or infants are choking. The course uses the practice-while-watching format and will be taught by members of the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department. Please pre-register. Class size is limited and non-credentialed.
