MOBILE, Ala. – At approximately 13:55 hours, Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Ann Street for reports of a residential fire in the area. Upon arrival on scene, crews confirmed smoke and flames visible from a single-story, residential structure.
Fire personnel quickly located the origin of the fire and began to suppress smoke and flames. A dog was rescued from the scene as a result of MFRD search operations. No human occupants were discovered in the home.
The fire was successfully extinguished with no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
