Stocking Street Fire

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched at 12:57 p.m. for a report of a residential fire in the 200 block of Stocking Street in Mobile, Alabama, Thursday, March 28, 2024.

The first unit arrived on scene in about three minutes to find heavy fire and smoke coming from the rear of a two-story wood frame residence. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and personnel searched the house for any victims inside. None were found.

Districts 1 and 3 chiefs, Engines 23, 3, 8, and 9, Truck 4, Rescue 8, and Rehab 1 responded to the fire.

No one was injured in the fire. It is currently under investigation.
