Sage Avenue Commercial Building Fire

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched at 2:59 a.m. for a report of a commercial building fire at 18 South Sage Avenue in Mobile, Alabama, Monday, March 18, 2024.

Units arrived on scene within minutes, noting smoke and flames visible from the front of a single unit in a single-story brick veneer strip mall. Crews performed a search to make sure no one was in the building and extinguished the fire.

District 1 and 3 chiefs, Engines 12, 18, 23, and 9, Trucks 17 and 4, Rescue 12, and Rehab 1 responded to the incident.

No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation at this time.
