The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department (MFRD) proudly announces Fire Service Captain Robert M. Stewart as the November 2021 Firefighter of the Month. Captain Stewart began his career with MFRD in August of 1991 as a Firefighter.
From his very first day, Captain Stewart has been an example of what a Mobile firefighter should strive to be. With more than 30 years of service dedicated to the City of Mobile, Captain Stewart is consistently a prime example of what fire service members strive to be.
In addition to being a battle-hardened firefighter, Captain Stewart is a skilled paramedic, an active member of the Urban Search & Rescue Team (USAR), a valued member of the Hazardous Materials team, a consistent volunteer with Grand Bay Volunteer Fire Department, and an involved reserve in the Mobile County Sheriff's Reserve Unit.
MFRD is proud to recognize Capt. Stewart for his consistent work and service to our communities, our city, and our region.Robert
