Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-5806/Fax: (251) 208-5813 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org PHARAOH'S & CONDE EXPLORERS PARADE Mobile Firefighters and Firemedics working Mardi Gras Special Events during the Pharaoh's and Conde Explorers parade, Saturday night, February 11, 2006, had a relatively quiet night responding to only two calls for medical attention none of which required transportation to local medical facilities for further treatment. Both injuries were minor and were treated on the scene. Mardi Gras Special Events Teams consist of one Firemedic (Paramedic) and one Firefighter EMT (Basic Emergency Medical Technician) each assigned to four bike teams, three Rescue/Ambulances, one mini ambulance and two walking patrols. The Special Events Command Post is set up at Warren and Government Streets next to the Mobile Police Department's Command Post. ###
