November Firefighter of the Month:
Captain Scott Miller
In his 21 years of service, Fire Service Captain Alton Miller has exhibited extreme professionalism and dedication to the organization by going above and beyond the call of duty. He and his crew have graciously participated in not one, but two Fire Expos within the same calendar year without complaint.
Moreover, Captain Miller has willingly and selflessly used his own supplies in assisting the department with both house burn demonstrations at Dotch Community Center and Medal of Honor Park. Not only did he supply building materials out of his own pocket, but he was also instrumental in making sure the houses were transported from Station 26 to their respective destinations.
His hard work, dedication, and perseverance does not go unnoticed. He is the consummate professional and the ideal team player and role model for junior firefighters on the department.
The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department is pleased to announce and recognize Fire Service Captain Scott Miller as FIREFIGHTER OF THE MONTH for November 2018.
