Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-7163/Cell: (251) 605-0984 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org MOBILE FIRE-RESCUE CONDUCTING TRAINING BURN The Mobile Fire-Rescue Training Division will be conducting a live burn training exercise on Thursday, October 5 beginning at approximately 8:30 a.m. The house that will be used for training is located at 808 Magnolia Road located between Cottage Hill Road and Pleasant valley Road. Because of the location of the fire hydrants a section of Magnolia Road will be shut down between Brookley Avenue and Pleasant Valley Road. The training, which should take approximately four hours to complete, is being conducted for a recruit class of 15 currently going through certification training. The recruits are a combination of self-sponsored Alabama Fire College recruits and from surrounding departments such as Prichard and Daphne. ###
