MOBILE FIRE MARSHAL’S OFFICE SETS UP ARSON HOT LINE
Mobile Fire-Rescue Department’s Fire Marshal’s Office announcing today the addition of a new Arson Hot Line. The Hot Line can be used by anyone who has or would like to give information pertaining to the crime of arson in the City of Mobile or its jurisdiction. The number is 251-208-MFRD (208-6373). The number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Anyone with information will have the option of leaving a can message anonymously or to speak to an operator immediately.
The crime of arson is growing in the country especially in our area, arson investigators depend not only on physical evidence but also on witness information. We’re hoping by creating this Hot Line that more people will be willing to come forward and provide vital information that will put arsonist behind bars.
