Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org MAN INJURED IN INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT Firefighters and Firemedics from Mobile Fire-Rescue responded to an industrial accident this morning, Monday, February 25 located 5630 Iron Works Road. The call was received at approximately 7:38 a.m. A male patient was found with his right hand trapped in a conveyor belt at the rear of a truck. After several attempts firefighters were able to remove his hand from the conveyor. He was transported by ground ambulance to La Rue Steiner Road and Highway 90 and transferred to Lifeflight Medical Helicopter where he was transported to a local hospital. Engine 7, rescue 7, squad 27, truck 5 and District Chief Bill Hunter responded to the call. ###
