Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org INTENTIONAL FIRE AT LEFEVRE STREET Evidence discovered by Fire Investigators at a house fire located at 79 Lefevre Street indicates that fire may have been intentionally set. The fire was reported at approximately 10:05 a.m. Thursday, June 23. Firefighters arrived reporting fire at the rear of the one-story, wood frame structure. The fire caused an estimated $36 thousand in damage to the structure and contents. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information regarding this fire is asked to call the Mobile Fire-Rescue's Bureau of Fire Prevention at 208-MFRD or 208-7311. Engines 9, 15, 23; truck 17; rescue 3 and District Chief Dexter Pettaway responded. The Bureau of Fire Prevention is conducting the investigation. ###
