Fire Investigators Still Seeking Public's Help

Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org FIRE INVESTIGATORS SEEKING PUBLIC’S HELP Mobile Fire Investigators are continuing to investigate an April 22 fire located at 5546 Old Shell Road. Investigators have confirmed that the intended target was actually Bubble Lounge and not Papa Johns Pizza. The fire was set at the rear entrance of the building used by Bubble Lounge. That fire caused and estimated $50 thousand in damage. Investigators are still looking for a person of interest and have recently received a picture which is attached. His name is Jacob Paul Rogers born in 1990 and is described as a white male, 5 foot 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. He is wanted for questioning regarding the fire. Anyone with information pertaining to this fire and Rogers is asked to call the Arson Hotline at 208-MFRD or the Bureau of Fire Prevention at 208-7484. ###
