Fire Investigators Searching for Subject For Questioning

Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org FIRE INVESTIGATORS SEARCHING FOR SUBJECT WANTED FOR QUESTIONING Investigators with the Mobile Fire Marshal’s office is searching for Sidney Powell McCaskill, 32, who is wanted for questioning regarding a fire that occurred on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 22. McCaskill is described as a white male, 5 foot 10 niches tall, 170 pounds, blue eyes, brown hair, and a medium build. He may be living in the Lakeside/Park Avenue area and may have received burns during the fire. A female, possibly Hispanic by the name of “Rachael” was with him and could possibly still be in his company. The fire, which was reported at approximately 12:31 a.m., occurred at 5455 Racine Avenue and was caused by a meth lab that had exploded. The structure was occupied by a female at the time of the explosion. She received minor injuries. The structure received approximately $60 thousand in damage.
