Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (334) 208-5806/Fax: (334) 208-5813 FIRE DAMAGES HOUSE Mobile Firefighters responded to a house fire located at 6017 Mission Hill Court on Wednesday, June 14, 2000 at approximately 3:10 p.m. after neighbors noticed smoke coming from the one-story wood frame structure. Firefighters arrived at approximately 3:14 p.m. and discovered fire inside the structure. The owner, Mildred Adams, was not home at the time of the fire. The fire appears to have originated in the rear Master Bedroom and extended throughout before it was discovered. The cause of the fire remains under investigation but appears to have been accidental. Damage is estimated at $30 thousand. No injuries were reported. Engines 1, 15, 18, truck 10, rescue 1 and District 3 Chief John Hicks responded. ###
