DEPUTY CHIEF RETIRES AFTER OVER FORTY YEARS
Deputy Chief Don Meyers signed off the air after over 40 years of service with the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department and serving the citizens of Mobile and its visitors.
Meyers joined the department on June 20, 1974 and became a paramedic with the department when the emergency medical service was in its infancy.
Friday, February 27, 2015 marked the beginning of his well earned retirement.
The men and women of Mobile Fire-Rescue Department wish him a happy retirement.
