Cody Road Commercial Building Fire

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department responded to a commercial building fire at Brother’s Quick Stop at 375 Cody Road North in Mobile, Alabama, Saturday morning at about 3:56 a.m., June 29, 2024.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames visible from the back of the single-story structure. They established a water supply, made entry and stopped the fire at the rear of the structure. The building was heavily damaged by the fire and water, but was not a total loss.

Engine 1, Engine 26, Truck 5, Car 80, District 3, District 4, Engine 18, Engine 11, Truck 27, Rescue 1 and Rehab 1 responded to the incident.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
