Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org CITIZENS FIRE ACADEMY TO BURN STRUCTURE As part of the first Citizens Fire Academy, Mobile Fire-Rescue will be demonstrating a live burn exercise at the old Tides Inn located 3950 Hamilton Blvd. approximately ½ mile West of Rangeline Road. The burning of the three-story, wood frame structure is scheduled to begin at approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2007. This will end the training portion of the academy which is in its ninth week. The twenty-five members of the first Citizens Fire Academy will hold graduation ceremonies at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19 in the Mobile Gas Corporation’s Auditorium located at 2828 Dauphin Street.
