ARSON SUSPECT ARRESTED
Lenzy Barney, III, a person of interest being sought by Mobile Fire Investigators, turned himself into Fire Investigators late Wednesday evening, June 27 and was questioned regarding an Arson fire at 1455 Houston Street that occurred earlier in the day at approximately 6:20 a.m. Barney was subsequently arrested and taken to Mobile County Metro Jail charged with Arson 1st Degree.
A witness came forward that out Barney on the scene just prior to the fire being discovered. Fire Investigators are still looking for another key witness who was riding by on a small motorcycle and ask that anyone with information regarding this fire to call them at 208-7484 or after hours/weekends at 208-7311.
