APRIL FIREFIGHTER OF THE MONTH
Firemedic/Driver Eric Creel has been selected as the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department's Firefighter of the Month for the Month of April. Creel is a Paramedic assigned to Rescue 1 and is also a member of the department's Urban Search and Rescue Team (USAR). Creel was nominated by his Captain because he consistently shows professionalism in every aspect of his job and is a valuable asset to the department and the USAR Team. Creel volunteers to go to every class outside the department he is offered to better himself and is always eager to assist in training sessions presented at the department. He is a very skillful in his Paramedic duties as well as firefighting. And encourages others to do their best in all situations. He is a model for other personnel to follow.
Creel was presented the honor by the Pleasant Valley Opportunity Club at a breakfast at the Tiny Diny Restaurant Wednesday morning, April 27, 2005. A picture of Creel can be found with this release on the department's website.
