Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (334) 208-5806/Fax: (334) 208-5813 1025 COLONIAL COURT FIRE UNDER INVESTIGATION Firefighters from Mobile Fire-Rescue responded to a house fire located at 1025 Colonial Court early Tuesday morning, July 18, 2000. A neighbor discovered the fire and called 911 at approximately 3:32 a.m. Firefighters arrived shortly after at approximately 3:35 a.m. The fire appears to have originated in a rear room of the one-story wood frame structure and extended into an adjacent room. There was smoke damage throughout the structure. No one was home at the time and Mobile FireRescue Investigators have not determined whom the owner or occupant is. The cause of the fire that caused an estimated $20 thousand in damage remains under investigation. No injuries were reported. Engines 8, 9, 16, truck 24, rescue 24 and District 1 Chief Ed Salva responded. ###
