Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-5806/Fax: (251) 208-5813 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org NEW FIREFIGHTERS TO GRADUATE Mobile Fire-Rescue Department Officials will hold graduation ceremonies for 20 firefighter recruits on Friday, December 16, 2005. The ceremony will take place at the Saenger Theatre in downtown Mobile and is scheduled to begin at approximately 1:00 p.m. Nineteen of those graduating will be working for Mobile Fire-Rescue Department and one is employed by Satsuma Fire Department. The 20 graduates have completed approximately 15 weeks of training, which included, basic emergency medical technician training and certification, firefighting skills, vehicle extrication, and rescue. The department is scheduled to begin another class December 27th. ###
