Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org MOBILE MYSTICS AND MAIDS OF MIRTH PARADES Mobile Firefighters and Firemedics working Mardi Gras Special Events during the Mobile Mystics and Krewe of Marry Mates parades, Saturday, February 10, 2007, responded to eight calls for medical attention, five of which were serious enough to be transported to local medical facilities for further treatment. During the Maids of Mirth, Mobile marry Mates and Order of Butterfly Maidens parades, fire-rescue teams responded to six calls for medical attention, three of which were serious enough to be transported to local medical facilities for further treatment. All other calls were considered minor and non-life threatening. ###
