MFRD SEEKING PERSON OF INTEREST
Mobile Fire-Rescue Investigators are seeking a person of interest regarding a fire that occurred on Friday, May 8 on Carter Avenue. The fire occurred at approximately 3:02 p.m.
When firefighters arrived they reported fire coming from the windows of the single story, wood frame structure.
It appears the fire was intentionally set. No injuries were reported.
Fire investigators are looking for Michael Anthony Mauldin for questioning about the fire. The house is owned by his uncle with whom he was involved in a domestic dispute prior to the fire. Fire investigators believe he may have information regarding the fire.
Mauldin is a black male, age 26, 6’4”, 178 lbs.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department at 208-7311 or 208-MFRD.
