Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-7163/Fax: (251) 208-5843 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org MOBILE FIRE-RESCUE INVESTIGATORS MAKE ARREST On Monday, October 3 at approximately 11:30 a.m. Mobile Fire-Rescue units responded to a house fire at 256 Rickarby Street. Firefighters reported smoke and flames showing from rear of structure which they were able to quickly extinguish. At least three rooms received damage from the fire which caused no reported injuries. Fire Investigators were called to the scene and quickly discovered that this was an intentionally set fire. Four suspects were also identified. That afternoon, two of the suspects, both juveniles, were found. They were interviewed and gave confessions. This morning Wednesday, October 5, the last two suspects, also juveniles, were interviewed and also confessed. All four were processed at Strickland Youth Center on charges of Arson 2nd Degree. ###
