Deputy Chief of Administration
Marquis O. James serves as the Deputy Chief of Administration. He is a 28 year veteran of the MFRD. Chief James has promoted through the ranks holding positions as Fire Service Driver, Fire Service Captain, and District Chief. Chief James is a graduate of the University of Mobile where he received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Organizational Management. Chief James has completed executive fire officer training through the Executive Development Institute (EDI).
