Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-5806/Fax: (251) 208-5813 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org HAZ MAT DRILL Members of the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department's Hazardous Materials Response Team will be conducting a drill on the Midway of the Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds on Friday, April 15 beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. The team will be setting up and practicing with equipment used during a Haz Mat Incident. They will also be setting up recently acquired Decontamination Tents and simulating decontaminating patients. This drill is being conducted to stay prepared in the event of a large chemical or biological release where a large number of patients may be exposed and in need of being decontaminated. The tents are designed to handle large numbers quickly. ###
