Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched for a report of an automatic crash notification at about 3:59 a.m., Monday morning, January 15, 2024, near Grelot Road and Cimarron Ridge in Mobile, Alabama.
Engine 6 arrived on scene to find a burning passenger vehicle on its top off the road in the woods. The fire was extinguished. Crews reported one fatality.
The incident is under investigation. As of 7:05 a.m., units are still on scene.
