Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (334) 208-5806/Fax: (334) 208-5813 E-Mail: huffman@ci.mobile.al.us FIRE DESTROYS HOUSE TRAILER Mobile Firefighters were called to a house trailer fire at approximately 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday morning, November 14, 2000, after being discovered by a neighbor. The trailer was located at 3551 Shady Acres Drive, East. When firefighters arrived at approximately 4:50 a.m. the trailer was completely involved with fire and the roof had already collapsed on the floor of the structure. No one appeared to have been home at the time of the fire and according to neighbors one of the vehicles was missing. According to vehicle registration records it appears that Ellison and Debra Weaver occupied the trailer but that information has not been verified. The fire appears to have originated on the North end of the house trailer but the cause remains under investigation. No injuries were reported. Engines 1, 15, truck 5, rescue 18 and District 3 Chief John Young responded. ###
