Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org FIRE AT CAPTAIN’S TABLE RESTAURANT Investigators are on the scene working to determine the cause of a fire that occurred at the Captain’s Table Restaurant this morning, Tuesday, June 23. Firefighters were called to the scene at approximately 3:31 a.m. after receiving a call reporting smoke coming from top of the restaurant located at 27101 Battleship Parkway. Once on scene firefighters encountered heavy fire inside the dining area of the business and worked to quickly extinguish the fire. The business suffered fire damage in the dining area with smoke damage throughout. Fire Investigators have determined based on evidence that the fire was intentionally set. No injuries were reported.
