Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-5806/Fax: (251) 208-5813 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org CONDE CAVALIERS PARADE Mobile Firefighters and Firemedics working Mardi Gras Special Events during the Conde Cavaliers parade, Friday night, February 10, 2006, responded to four calls for medical attention none of which required transportation to local medical facilities for further treatment. All injuries were minor and were treated on the scene. Mardi Gras Special Events Teams consist of one Firemedic (Paramedic) and one Firefighter EMT (Basic Emergency Medical Technician) each assigned to four bike teams, three Rescue/Ambulances, one mini ambulance and two walking patrols. The Special Events Command Post is set up at Warren and Government Streets next to the Mobile Police Department's Command Post. ###
