Azalea Pointe Apartments Fire

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched at 12:31 a.m. for a report of an apartment fire at Azalea Pointe Apartments at 651 Azalea Road Monday, August 5, 2024.

Engine 19 arrived on scene to find light smoke visible from a first floor apartment. The crew made entry and found a fire inside that they were quickly able to extinguish, keeping it contained to one room. Searches were performed to make sure no one was inside, with no one found.

No injuries were reported in the incident. The fire is under investigation at this time.
