Statement from Councilman Levon Manzie on Federal Investment in Broad Street:

 

“I’m thrilled the Department of Transportation has awarded the city a $14.5 million grant that will help to rehabilitate Broad Street and, in doing so, revitalize the surrounding communities including the Campground, Orange Grove, De Tonti and Down the Bay. Being awarded this grant is a testament to the hard work of the Administration and my colleagues on the City Council. This has been a three year process and, apparently, third time is a charm.”
