Garbage, trash pickup changes for Mardi Gras holiday

MOBILE, Al — In observance of Fat Tuesday, the City of Mobile will not collect roadside trash, or household garbage on March 4, 2025. Tuesday garbage routes will run a day early on Monday, March 3. Trash collection will not run on March 4, and there will not be a makeup day.

The city’s recycling centers will be closed on both Monday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 4, in line with the city holiday. A complete 2025 Sanitation Holiday schedule is available at https://www.cityofmobile.org/public-works/sanitation-holiday-schedule/.
