Council Task Force to Meet on USA Proposal

A Council Task Force will meet next Monday, August 6th at 2:00 PM to discuss the proposed partnership with the University of South Alabama on their stadium project. The meeting will take place in the Council Conference Room on the 9th Floor of the South Tower in Government Plaza.
Council Vice President Levon Manzie asked Councilmen Fred Richardson, Joel Daves and Councilwoman Bess Rich to serve on the task force which aims to address the remaining areas of concerns regarding the proposal including the future of Ladd Stadium.
“I believe that a resolution is within reach to ensure the University of South Alabama is able to continue to grow and prosper while protecting the key communities impacted by the proposed stadium and the future of Ladd,” said Council Vice President Manzie.
