Notice of Intent to Sell – Request for Proposals: The City of Mobile Real Estate Department is accepting proposals (RFP) for the disposition of the following real property [RFP available at www.cityofmobile.org/real-estate-listings and https://www.cityofmobile.org/bids/?dept=Real+Estate]: Property with aging ballpark outbuildings, 5842 (AKA 5850) Carol Plantation Rd., Theodore, AL (located in Mobile County), 19 ± acres, KEY No: 2840741, Theodore, AL 36582. Said property is appraised for $570,000.00. Proposals shall include at a minimum the following items: a) total purchase price; b) proposed use and development of the property, with City of Mobile’s preference to be residential; c) anticipated method of financing the purchase, d) name, address, telephone number, and legal organization of purchaser, if applicable; e) name of principal authorized to act on behalf of the purchaser; and, f) terms of sale including any required/requested contingencies. Proposal responses shall be in writing, signed by the prospective purchaser, and received in the Bid Box, 9th Floor, South Tower, in a sealed envelope, marked “City of Mobile Proposals” no later than Wednesday, September 11, 2024 @ 2:00 PM local time CST. Proposals will NOT be accepted in the Real Estate Department. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received in response to this notice and the published Request for Proposals.
