GIS provides City departments and local agencies with accurate geographic-based information and analysis tools to increase staff efficiency and reduce redundant mapping and analysis activities. It developes and maintains GIS databases and applications; provides technical and operational support for GIS-related hardware and software provides GIS training for users and MIS staff.
