Robert O. Bostwick Jr, is the Executive Director of Economic, Cultural & Community Development for the City of Mobile which entails overseeing the City Departments of Economic Development, City Museum, Mobile Museum of Art, Library, Mobile Film Office & Fort Conde. Bostwick is the founder and President of Bayfest Inc.

He is the contract administrator for the Convention Center, Civic Center, Exploreum's Omnimax, Science Museum and the Business Innovation Center. Prior to these assignments, Bostwick was the Executive Assistant to the Mayor for four years.

A native of the Mobile area, Bostwick attended the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of South Alabama. He has over 25 years experience in marketing and management positions. Prior to joining the city of Mobile, Bostwick was Vice President and Director of Franchising for Checkers Drive-In Restaurants.

He is married to the former Judy Breland. they have three sons, Brian, Robert O. Bostwick III and Greg, and six grandchildren, all residing in Mobile.
